His father, Elder T.E Oyakhilome of Benin City was among the first leaders of the Assemblies. His firstborn son Pastor Chris was truly an source of inspiration for his father. Growing up in an Christian family is an amazing joy.

It is easy to imagine the joy his deceased father must have felt seeing his firstborn son to spread the Gospel message that Jesus Christ is the Savior. His father's influence must have had a massive influence on the young Chris Oyakhilome. At just nine, he embarked on his first crusade.

Chris Oyakhilome has fulfilled his promise to honor his parents. Pastor Chris is a true Christian who has paid tribute to his father by the leadership of prayer groups at his college and preaching sermons to millions.

Angelina and Tim Oyakhilome had two additional children. Reverend Ken is Pastor Chris’s brother. As a prominent Pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Branch, He has had a profound impact on many lives and shared wisdom. He is also part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council.

Katty Worghiren who is the sibling of Pastor Chris, is the director at the LoveWorld Music & Arts Ministry. Katty Worghiren was a first singer in the choir.  Pastor Chris Family Her songwriting abilities have led to some of LoveWorld's most well-known songs. She composed the national anthem "I Believe in Nigeria".

In composing the last and poignant paragraph of the Believers LoveWorld Anthem, Katty is able to include this message in order to highlight how important it is to be a part of the Christian family:

Many of us know that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has a personal family as well as a global family. The immersion of his family in the ministry and mission of the teachings of Gospel is truly inspirational. As 1 Timothy 5: 1-2 recounts:

Treat younger men as if you were your brothers, and older women like they were your mother. Don't treat younger women as your sister. "

Two Outstanding Daughters

Both of them currently reside in London.

Pastor Chris's daughter Sharon is now a rising gospel star. She was inspired by her father and wrote the award-winning  “Holy Spirit” which is a testimony to her deeply held Christian dedication. She is also an inspirational leader of the Global Youth Leaders Forum and presents many shows on its online channels.

Phillip Frimpong  Phillip Frimpong, her husband, was the most stunning wedding in Africa. She captured her love in an emotional Instagram post: -

"YES! I am engaged my best friend. The most beautiful and my absolute favorite person...I am so, happy and blessed. I could affirm my commitment over and over again. I love you ."

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's Nephew Daysman Oyakhilome, is one of Africa's most promising leaders. He's using his expertise to help inspire youngsters with the Word. He also serves as the director of Carel Films Enterprise and a businessman. This allows him to spread the Good News through modern communication media. He is in charge of the production of over 100 Christian music videos.

At the age of 20, he had already won the American Academy of Animations Award three times. He also was a recipient of the Walt Disney Award and nominated for the Future African Leaders Award FALA. The real genius of him is making others' genius shine bright.

The life and teachings of Jesus Christ are an important part of Pastor Chris's family. We can observe that they are deeply rooted in the work of God. Family members like these according to the Man God, are able to comprehend:
